oh, no no no! Remember number eleven on my 25 random things??? well it’s about to come crashing down! the world has lost two fabulous magazines this week, TWO of the greats : Domino and WonderTime. I am sad to say goodbye to that monthly mailbox surprise. The rest of my list, i’m almost afraid to mention, I can’t take anymore publishing plummets:
{1} Seeing the Everyday {2} WonderTime {3} Garden & Gun {4} Martha Stewart Weddings {5} Dwell {6} How {7} Communication Arts {8} Domino {9} ReadyMade … and then two digital zines {10} Plenty {11} Craft
I think you can now get ReadyMade digital style too!, maybe I will go with some of my euro faves Junior & Living Etc. to fill the holes in my heart? What is on your subscription list?

Meant to post this a while back. I am in awe over the design, innovations and clever details of this amazing live-work space recently featured in ReadyMade Magazine. Shauna Alterio and Stephen Loidolt transformed their Philadelphia rental into an artistic and functional haven that I continue to marvel over. You can delve more into their creative minds here.

About a month ago, my little boy was found standing on the bathroom counter with the medicine cabinet open and the infant tylenol dropper in his mouth. Yikes! My husband and I were upset {the generic brand container was not childproof} and made a big deal out of it in hopes of scaring him out of never doing it again. It made quite an impression on him – he brings it up almost every day – and hasn’t done it since.
This medicine cabinet beauty made an impression on me. I saw it in my recent issue of ReadyMade. An already well-thought-out packaging re-design, upcycled into some holiday goodness by Tammy of the Precarious Tomato.
