Can’t let a surprise Wedding Wednesday pass me by without telling you about a great party that I printed invitations for and attended on Sunday for Anna-Bé, a bridal boutique in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood. The music was really something to sing about – Maestro Hughes with some serious hip-hop violin skills, yes, I said Hip-Hop violin, backed by mad DJ beats and a good dose of MJ. And the best part was, I got to go with my “date” {those are some big quotes… b/c we are both married with children} & good printer friend, Jason Wedekind of Genghis Kern and talk letterpress all evening, which probably would have bored any other “date” to death.
